NAVI was first introduced to the new age sounds of Chemical Bros. and Daft Punk through the airwaves of his then favorite rock station KROQ, in early 1995. This diverse and challenging sound led him to be interested, but not yet convinced. Until 2001, when he attended his first live show, and was immensely hooked at the power of the 4/4 beat.

Wide eyed and intrigued by the sounds of this experience he started to have the first contact with decks and vinyls, whilst keeping close with the people that always followed him to the best underground parties. He moved back to Los Angeles in early 2003 to dig deeper into his music knowledge and in summer 2006 got his first chance to showcase his skills for the O.C.Productions party Maydaze, alongside longtime friend M.E.E.K.O, Una Slim, and DJ Arturo.

Soon after his mixes were being played over several internet stations and receiving nothing but great feedback from worldwide listeners. Now the real challenge begins, and exposing the sounds of NAVI to greater audiences will always remain his first focus. Don't Talk, Just Listen!
